Subject of Possible Rule Making: The subject of this rule making is chapter 365-212 WAC, Manufactured/mobile home relocation assistance program.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 43.330.040 Director powers and duties.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: We are looking to repeal WAC 365-212-010 to 365-212-090 as they are obsolete and inaccurate due to statute and programmatic changes since they were established in 2003. Incorrect information about the program and its operations can lead to confusion and potential legal risks since they do not reflect the current statutes.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Not applicable.

Process for Developing New Rule: Standard rule-making process; the department of commerce will notify affected stakeholders of proposed changes via GovDelivery. Stakeholders will also have an opportunity to submit written comments on the proposed rule during the public comment period, and will be able to present oral testimony at the public hearing.
